May

4th – Widsith & Deor host Exeter Storyclub at the Cowick Barton Inn (free for Tellers, £3 for
listeners) from 7.45pm.

14th – ‘Singing Stories, Weaving Tales’ at St. Thomas Library. Ulrika Igraine sings with her
Choir, and Widsith & Deor tell Nordic tales.

28th – Exeter Respect Festival Launch Party (cabaret performance) at the Barnfield Theatre

June

1st – Widsith & Deor host Exeter Storyclub at the Cowick Barton Inn (free for Tellers, £3 for
listeners).

11th & 12th – Exeter Respect Festival – 12 – 6pm, Belmont Park. Performing and hosting their
Widsith & Deor Tipi Stage with a full line up of acts including music, storytelling, theatre,
poetry, workshops and Have-a-Go Medieval Martial Arts!

18th – 27th – Glastonbury Festival. The Widsith & Deor Tipi Theatre is to the right of the main
Campfire in the Tipi Field, and features a variety of global storytelling, Anglo-Saxon riddles, walkabout characters, a tiny ‘Poet’s he(Art)’ handmade curio stall, and the Late Night Adult Storytelling Show at 9pm on Thursday 23rd & Friday 24th.

July

6th – Widsith & Deor host Exeter Storyclub at the Cowick Barton Inn (free for Tellers, £3 for
listeners) from 7.45pm.

10th – Busking tour of France & Spain including set dates;

16th – Two evening shows near Penamacor in Portugal at Hidden Valley.

27th – Evening show in the Pyrenees at a farm community near St. Girons.

August

3rd – return to Exeter from France.

19th – 21st – Beautiful Days Festival. Storytelling performances in the Redwood Circle 6-9pm each
evening. Also craft workshops (under the ‘Freeplay’ banner) each day in the Majical Youth field.

27th – Exeter Street Arts Festival – the Widsith & Deor Tipi Stage on Exeter Cathedral Green
(opposite the Royal Clarence Hotel) from 10am – 6pm hosts Storytelling, Kenson Low’s
walkabout Geraldine the Dinosaur, Julie Yount’s Acro-yoga and Wyverntales Have-a-Go
Medieval Martial Arts.

Sept.

7th – Widsith & Deor host Exeter Storyclub at the Cowick Barton Inn (free for Tellers, £3 for
listeners) from 7.45pm.

10th – ‘St. T. in the Park’ (part of the St. Thomas Festival) St. Thomas Pleasure Ground – 12-5pm –
the Widsith & Deor Tipi Stage hosts a variety of acts including storytellers, music and poetry.

Oct.

5th – Widsith & Deor host Exeter Storyclub at the Cowick Barton Inn (free for Tellers, £3 for
listeners) from 7.45pm.

31st – ‘The House on Haunted Hill’ – a Halloween storytelling show at the Voodoo Lounge, Exeter
Phoenix, in association with Phonic FM.

Nov.

2nd- Widsith & Deor host Exeter Storyclub at the Cowick Barton Inn (free for Tellers, £3 for
listeners) from 7.45pm.

26th – ‘An Unusually Good Book Sale’ – Book Fair at St. Michael & All Angels Church, St. David’s,
Exeter. 11am – 3pm. The Pop Up Poetry Shop & The Poet’s (he)Art will feature.

Dec.

7th – Widsith & Deor host Exeter Storyclub at the Cowick Barton Inn (free for Tellers, £3 for
listeners) from 7.45pm.

31st – New Year’s Eve Carnival on the Quay (location TBC)
